EMAIL PHIL DONATO MP

  • We are asking Philip Donato MP to make urgent representations to Environment Minister Penny Sharpe on behalf of the Parkes community.
  • 📧 Email: orange@parliament.nsw.gov.au
  • 📢 Feel free to use this template or write your own message. Every email counts!
  • Dear Philip Donato MP,
  • I am asking you to make formal representations to Environment Minister Penny Sharpe to oppose the Parkes Energy Recover, Energy-from-Waste (WTE) incinerator proposal in Parkes and the weakening of regulations that would allow such harmful developments to proceed in our region.
  • These incinerators are banned in the ACT and NSW except in four regional NSW areas. Energy-from-Waste undermines waste reduction and recycling, and poses serious risks to air, soil and water quality, agriculture, and public health.
  • Our community will not stand by while environmental protections are eroded. We need stronger safeguards—not weaker ones—to protect our land, water, and future generations. We are counting on you to advocate for policies that prioritise public health and environmental responsibility at the highest level.
